Walk the plank!

Hi all,
River rogues are putting on our first event and would like to invte members of the wight pirates.
It's along the lines of Lulworth, we will have a LH camp a Skirmish militia etc from other groups have said they will turn up, we have a boat to use for pirates, with a walk the plank competition for the public, just for one day in aid of Multiple Sclerosis.
The event is on 25th July 2009 at the Swan in Radcot Oxfordshire. The pub is right alongside the river and we can camp on their island. WE will be there on Friday 24th to set up and have an evening by the camp fire etc.
You can google the pub and look at a satelite map of the area.

Well fellas- what do we reckon?

Aye, sounds like fun - a day raiding party perhaps to keep the ferry costs down. Could overnight friday-sat if we felt the need, but its close enough to do a day trip.

We are camping on the Friday and Saturday night so you are all welcome to join us. The living history camp is on the island opposite the pub and there will be plastic camping behind that so we are out of sight of the public.

I think the Sheppy pirates are bringing their cannon and we have a chap that does pyrotechnics to lay some ground charges.

We are trying to get a group to play in the evening, folk and shanties etc.

Damn! Just realised that weekend we have an MSS event on our Island at Appuldurcombe- so that's me and ed out straight away. Sorry. Do you find this valuable?
